PROJECT 1000

A Docu-series in Partnership with EmpowerCLE+ and the Non-Film School

Project 1000, a docu-series in partnership with EmpowerCLE+ and the Non-Film School, shares the journey of a wireless internet service provider (WISP) with a purpose to connect 1,000 residents in the city of Cleveland that battle the digital divide.

The C.R.E.W. Foundation worked hand-in-hand with the Non-Film School to provide a 7-week film program to the EmpowerCLE+ team and students interested in the industry. The outcome is a 12-minute documentary that shares the importance of access to technology, accessibility in the time of COVID-19, and bridging the digital divide.
